I’m excited to be attending ASG Evolve19 in Dallas, Texas on October 21 – 23. I’d like to highlight some sessions which I’m particularly looking forward to.
Why attend? I’m interested to discover how industry visionaries view the future of Digital Transformation and how organizations are tackling its implications. I’m also incredibly impressed by the thought leadership that ASG have been producing, and I’m keen to learn more.
I can’t wait to meet Mike Walsh, Futurist and CEO of Tomorrow, a global consultancy on designing business for the 21st century. Walsh has many interesting things to say on Digital Transformation and the true potential of human intelligence in the 21st century in this era of disruptive technological change.
I’m excited to be meeting R “Ray” Wang, someone in the industry that I’ve admired for a long time. R “Ray” Wang is the author of the best-selling book Disrupting Digital Business, published by Harvard Business Review Press. He is the Principal Analyst, Founder, and Chairman of Silicon Valley based Constellation Research, Inc. and the Co-Host of the web show DisrupTV. His writes at “A Software Insider’s Point of View” and I’m one of his millions of readers.
Paul Muller is Chief Strategist and Co-Founder of Denting the Universe, a global organization helping business deliver breakthrough thinking by challenging the status quo. I’m excited to hear Paul’s thoughts and experience on developing and shaping the strategic priorities for the world’s leading technology consumers and influencers, and the effect on business/IT strategy alignment and organizational change.
There are plenty of great sessions on the agenda, and I am still choosing! Here are a few standout sessions based on my interests.
Nationwide Case Study: Taking Metadata Management from 0 – 60 in 6 Months (Data Intelligence Track) by Nationwide
Audit & Analytic Services: Connecting the Dots – Balance the Information Flowing Between Systems (Content Track) by American National Insurance
Force Multiplier: How ASG-TMON PA Enables Performance and Capacity Analysts to Manage 6,000 Servers in a Complex Environment (Systems Track) by Cerner
I’m looking forward to the event and I hope to see you there!
