Thank you SQLPass and SQLFamily

I’m delighted to announce that I’m now the holder of the EMEA Regional Seat on the Board of Directors for The Professional Association for SQL Server
Thank you to everyone who participated in the election, whether they voted for me or not! I will do my best for you all.

I am honoured to be part of such a great team. You can meet the team here… and they are all awesome.

I am looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and paying back the trust that the community have placed in me with their votes, and I will work towards delivering results for my SQLFamily. I am looking forward to working with you all for our SQLServer and data community.

I’m looking forward to coming out to SQLSaturday Bulgaria at the end of October after the SQLPass Summit in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see you all in Charlotte before then, of course!
For now… to everyone… Thank You.

I am massively touched by the many people who got in touch to say they’d voted, and some people said that they’d only submitted one vote, just for me! I wanted to say thank you in particular to these people, but there was too many to list. So I thought I’d add a ‘Thank You’ to people in different languages, showing some of the countries where people send me kind messages of support.

We really are a global SQLFamily.
For all the SQL Community everywhere….

Thank you
